Agri-Mix Training Programs

Agri-Mix Training Programs allow you to gain an inside glimpse at life for Canadian farm families! Through an Agri-Mix Training Program, you will have the opportunity to work outside on the farm, as well as inside the family home. Some duties may include caring for children and preparation of meals. Through this training program, you will gain knowledge and insight about life on a family farm!

Beekeeper Training Program

Through a Beekeeper Training Program, you will gain hands-on experience working with beehives. Bees are an important aspect of agriculture and you will learn how pollination is used to keep the agriculture industry alive. As a Beekeeper Training Exchange Visitor, you will learn about the different uses of bees, honey production, beehive nutrition, and the movement of bees.

A Field Crops Training Program will give you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience during the planting, growing, and harvest seasons. Learn the latest in fertilizer, pesticide, and herbicide application. Many of our Field Crops Training Programs will give you the opportunity to use farm machinery and some of the latest farming technologies. As an Exchange Visitor, your program may include learning about field crops, protection decisions, weed identification, marketing of field crops, maintenance and repair of field crops, farm machinery, harvesting, drying of field crops, and GPS training.

Pig Farm Training Program Exchange Visitors are involved in the care of pigs, the pigs feed rations and nutrition, environmental controls, health monitoring, and veterinary care.
